Q
What if I believe that I have not done anything wrong and find myself reported?

You can make written application to GBB to have your matter promptly investigated.

Q
What mechanism is there to stop malicious reporting?
A
Firstly there is only one person in each member organization that has that authority. That person will make an assessment of a report by another staff member, and weigh up the evidence. Given that our members want their facilities filled with well behaved guests it is unlikely that there will be malicious reporting. Further, we have auditing processes in place to ensure that a high standard of assessment is carried out before a report is submitted.

Yes, if you are the registered party. Where ever you stay it is the person who registers that has the responsibility of all of the guests staying with them. This is normally a condition of your stay.
